Infrastructure Engineer

One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Hybrid team in New York, NY!

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise across VMware, enterprise storage, Windows server infrastructure, Citrix, and Exchange Hybrid environments. This role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a highly available on-premises infrastructure while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and international support teams to ensure operational stability and performance. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded infrastructure engineer with hands-on experience supporting VMware ESXi environments, enterprise storage platforms, Windows Server infrastructure, disaster recovery solutions, Citrix application environments, and Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, infrastructure engineering experience, and the ability to support multiple technologies across the enterprise stack.

Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience administering VMware ESX/ESXi environments, including vCenter, HA/DRS, snapshots, backups, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
• Experience supporting enterprise storage environments including Dell EMC, NetApp, SAN, NFS, CIFS, storage provisioning, replication, and capacity management
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
• Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows infrastructure services
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments (on-premises and Microsoft 365)
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VMware ESXi environments hosted on HPE infrastructure
• Support enterprise storage platforms including provisioning, replication, capacity planning, and expansion activities
• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure and Active Directory services
• Perform patching, upgrades, monitoring, and lifecycle management across infrastructure environments
• Support Citrix Workspace and published application environments
• Administer Exchange Hybrid environments, including Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange servers
