The Human + AI Org Design Lead redesigns how organizations operate when AI agents are part of the workforce. This role defines new collaboration norms, decision rights, governance structures, and operating rhythms that function in a world where humans and AI work side by side. You bring energy, resilience, and a genuine passion for building something new.The Work:Redesign cross-functional collaboration norms, decision rights, and operating rhythms for human + AI environmentsDefine governance structures and accountability models that function when AI agents execute tasks previously done by peopleFacilitate design sessions with client functional leaders to build alignment on new ways of working and operating model changesDocument the future-state operating model in clear, executable terms that the Process Blueprint Lead can build uponDevelop the role-level design framework — how each role changes when AI agents handle portions of the workEnsure organizational design decisions are integrated with process redesign and technology implementation timelinesTravel up to 80% is required.Here’s What You NeedCandidates must have at least 8 years of combined experience in the following:Organizational design, operating model redesign, or management consulting focused on how organizations are structured and governedRedesigning decision rights, accountability frameworks, and collaboration norms in large-scale transformation programsDesigning governance models for new technology or platform deployments in enterprise organizationsFamiliarity with human + AI teaming models and the organizational implications of agentic AI deploymentStrong facilitation skills — can lead senior stakeholder workshops and drive alignment across competing prioritiesBachelor's DegreeBonus points if you have:MBA or advanced degree in organizational behavior, management, or a related disciplineHands-on experience designing operating models for agentic AI environments — including AI agent governance, human oversight, and decision rightsExperience with Accenture's Organizational Velocity framework or equivalent operating model design methodologiesTrack record publishing or presenting on the future of work, human + AI collaboration, or organizational design for AIBackground in Life Sciences operating environments and functional organizational structuresCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
