Your Role

• Conduct essential and complex laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following standardized protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document every procedure, mentor new personnel, and aid in maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree plus ASCP/AMT certification readiness.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current professional certification throughout tenure.
