Accounting Manager

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join a team in the Denver/DTC area. Qualified candidates with 5+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Annual salary of $120,000-$140,000 yearly may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Job Description:

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  
  
• Manage bill of receipts, project accounting tasks.
  
  
• Month-end close management including accruals and financial statement analysis.
  
  
• Dig into the weeds of financials.
  
  
• Prepare and analyze internal financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  
  
• Manage one direct report.
  
  
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  
  
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle including strong Excel and ERP system skills.
  
  
• BIG 4 experience.
  
  
• Bachelors of Accounting.
  
  
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
  
  
• Manufacturing industry experience.
  
  
• Construction industry experience.
  
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
  
  
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  
  
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels.
  
  
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
  
  
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.
