Paralegal

Paralegal Location: Kingston NY Pay rate: 55,000.00 Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Job Type: Temp to Perm Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to attorneys by conducting research, preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with case management. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Draft, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Maintain and manage case files, records, and legal databases. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings. File legal documents with courts and government agencies. Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents. Summarize depositions, transcripts, and legal findings. Assist with document discovery and evidence management. Required Skills and Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree; paralegal certification may be preferred. Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
