We're looking for someone who can see around corners, communicate clearly, develop people, and proactively bring solutions to the table.Who We AreLifetime Tax Advisors is part of Lifetime Cos., an à la carte family office providing comprehensive wealth management, tax advisory, and insurance services.Our core focus is simple: We love being trusted advisors as we navigate the complexities of our clients' success.We operate using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), creating clear accountability, systematic execution, and a team working toward shared goals.What You'll DoOwn Client RelationshipsServe as the primary trusted advisor for a portfolio of approximately 50–100 clientsWork with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs, and multi-entity organizationsTranslate complex tax issues into clear, actionable recommendationsProactively identify tax planning opportunities rather than waiting for clients to askUnderstand clients' short- and long-term goals and help them plan accordinglyNavigate difficult or sensitive client conversations with confidence and professionalismBuild relationships that extend well beyond annual filing seasonLead Complex Tax Strategy & ComplianceHandle complex individual, partnership, corporate, and multi-entity tax situationsApply federal tax regulations and reporting requirements, including international considerations for U.S. personsReview returns prepared by staff for accuracy and planning opportunitiesAdvise on entity structures, real estate taxation, multi-state exposure, and other sophisticated tax mattersStay current on tax law changes and proactively communicate their impactRepresent clients before the IRS when necessaryLead People & ProjectsTrain, supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionalsProvide technical guidance and maintain quality standards across client workManage multiple client projects and priorities simultaneouslySupport business restructurings and transaction implementationIdentify inefficiencies and help improve workflowsDocument successful processes so they can be replicated across the organizationHelp Build What's NextHelp Lifetime continue evolving from traditional compliance into proactive advisory relationshipsCollaborate with Lifetime's Wealth Management and Insurance teamsIdentify opportunities to provide greater value across the broader client relationshipContribute ideas that improve how the Tax division operates and serves clientsWhat We're Looking ForCPA, EA, Attorney, or equivalent professional credential with the ability to represent clients before the IRS and sign tax returns6–8+ years of progressive income tax experiencePublic accounting or professional services backgroundExperience with complex individual, business entity, partnership, and/or multi-entity taxationExperience directly owning relationships with high-net-worth individuals and business ownersStrong knowledge of federal tax policy, regulations, compliance, and reporting requirementsExperience leading and developing team membersAbility to manage multiple complex projects and priorities independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with professional tax software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, CCH, or similarBased in the DFW area or willing to relocate to the Rockwall areaWhat Will Set You ApartExperience advising founders, entrepreneurs, and other non-tax professionalsReal estate professional status and passive activity loss expertiseEstate, trust, and gift tax experienceMulti-state tax experienceCorporate, partnership, and/or international tax complianceASC 740 experienceCombination of public accounting and industry experienceTaxDome or similar practice management experienceAccounting proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, ResMan, Xero, or similarStrong project management and process improvement experienceThe Person Who Will Thrive HereYou're technically strong, but you don't hide behind technical language.You know how to tell a client what matters, what you recommend, and why.
