Manager, Production Planning

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Manager of Production Planning in Jacksonville, Florida to oversee production scheduling, material coordination, and resource optimization for IOL manufacturing. The role requires independent work with cross-functional teams, SAP expertise, and supply chain strategy development.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage production schedules to optimize resources and meet manufacturing standards
Lead S&OP process connecting sales demand, manufacturing capacity, and supplier capacity planning
Consolidate material demand forecasts and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Analyze production specifications, capacity data, and trends to improve manufacturing efficiency
Coach junior colleagues on planning techniques and process improvements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum 6 years production planning, inventory management, supply chain, or capacity planning experience
Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing planning background
Expert-level SAP knowledge; MRP/ERP system experience required
Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to influence peer-level cross-functional teams
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain, financial processes, and P&L analysis
