Trillium Construction is now hiring licensed WY electricians in the Cheyenne, WY area!

Work is Monday-Saturday, 7am-5:30pm. Pay is $45/hour for licensed journeyman electricians and $38/hour for licensed apprentices. Per diem is $150/day worked.

Scope of Work

• Conduit installation
• Installing PVC, HDPE, or rigid steel conduit
• Bending rigid (if required) and assembling long conduit runs
• Installing expansion fittings, sweeps, and stub-ups into equipment pads
• Duct banks
• Building multi-conduit duct banks (often encased in concrete)
• Installing spacers and ensuring proper separation for medium-voltage vs low-voltage runs
• Handholes / pull boxes / vaults
• Setting and leveling underground pull boxes and vaults
• Sealing entries and prepping for cable pulling
• Grounding & Bonding (big one on BESS)

Battery storage sites are grounding-intensive due to safety requirements:

• Installing ground grids (bare copper in trenches)
• Driving ground rods
• Cadwelding (exothermic welding) connections
• Bonding all metallic infrastructure (racking, containers, fences, equipment)
• Cable Installation Prep (and sometimes pulling)

Depending on the contractor, journeymen may:

• Install pull tape / mule tape
• Set up for cable pulls (rollers, sheaves, etc.)
• Pull medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) cables
• Assist with terminations (MV terminations are sometimes done by specialists)

Requirements:

• Must have WY license or reciprocating states (AK, AR, CO, ID, ME, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, NM, ND, OK, OR, TX, SD, IA, UT)
