You will be responsible for setting up, supporting, and continuous improvement of the Pump Services Product Line and its supply chain management program.* Identifying and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely acquisition of raw materials and components.* Coordinating the transportation, warehousing, and storage of goods to ensure they reach their destinations efficiently and cost-effectively.* Maintaining appropriate stock levels of materials and finished products, analyzing inventory data, and ensuring enough supplies are available for production and customer orders.* Forecasting demand, planning production schedules, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to align output with market needs.* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers to ensure smooth collaboration and address issues.* Continuously reviewing and analyzing existing logistical functions and processes to identify areas for improvement and developing policies to increase efficiency.* Identifying and implementing strategies to minimize costs throughout the supply chain, from sourcing to delivery.* Streamlining processes and optimizing resource allocation to increase output and improve overall operational performance.* Ensuring timely and reliable delivery of products to customers, which contributes to a positive customer experience.* Utilizing performance data and analytics to make informed decisions and guide strategies for improvement.* Identifying potential issues within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or sudden spikes in demand, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree OR* Bachelor’s degree in business relevant to supply chain, vendor management, business analysis* 5 Years relevant experience in manufacturing with supply chain management and business analysis responsibilities* Minimum of 5-year P&L responsibility# What we offer you* 15 days of paid time off and 12 company-paid holidays* 401k plan with a 6% match* Comprehensive health plan including medical, dental, vision, Life, short-term & long-term disability* Health savings account matching* Motivating wellness program* Employee Assistance Program* Paid paternal leave* Gym re-imbursementSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
