You must be available to work Monday through Friday. During the interview, you will complete an application and visit each age group—infants, toddlers, 2s, 3s, and Pre-K—to get to know our culture, teaching approach, and expectations. Most interviews take about an hour. At Goddard Henderson:
- We are NAEYC certified. There is a difference between "preschool" and "daycare"!
- You will always be supported and never out of ratio.
- We are here to help and answer your questions. You will have the resources you need to succeed in your classroom.
- You will be eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance after 60 days of employment.

- Be kind, nurturing, and have a positive attitude.
- Be able to complete live scan fingerprinting.
- Be able to provide a negative TB test.
- Be able to get a CPR card and complete all state-required courses within 30 days.
- Have a high school diploma, a C.D.A., associate’s, or bachelor’s degree.
- Have reliable transportation
- Be available to work any shift between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Use a variety of educational techniques, such as storytelling, educational play, and media, to teach children.
- Help children develop social skills and build self-esteem.
- Encourage children to interact with each other and help them resolve disagreements.
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand each child’s background and needs.
- Work together with other educators.
- Keep the classroom clean and safe.
