This position is open to LOCAL, NON-LOCAL, and TRUE TRAVEL candidates. This position requires CST certification.

OR / Surgical Tech - Redmond, WA ***PART TIME CONTRACT*** Schedule: 3x8hr, 0800-1700 (may be some flexibility to begin an hour earlier or end an hour later, confirm with manager), Days will most likely be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (could possibly swap a day for Friday depending on need) // OFF WEEKENDS Experience: 1 year of experience working as an OR / Surgical Tech in a general OR setting is required, experience in an ambulatory OR setting is preferred Skills Required:EAR, NOSE THROAT (ENT) Direct Laryngoscopy Endoscopic sinus procedures Laparoscopic assisted cases Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy Radical neck dissection Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy Tracheostomy GENERAL SURGERY Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical Laparoscopic assisted procedures ORTHOPEDIC Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Arthroscopy Arthrotomy Carpal tunnel release Closed/Open reduction of fractures Crutch Fitting/Education Fiberglass/Synthetic Cast Application Removal of casts/splints Total hip replacement Total knee replacement PODIATRY Ankle fusion Bunionectomy Hallux vagus arthroplasty/arthrodesis Metatarsal surgery EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT Fire Safety EQUIPMENT / INSTRUMENTATION / SUPPLIES Care of scopes & fiber optic equipment Case Cart Crash Cart Drills (multiple types) Electrosurgical units Fiber optic light sources/cords PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Aseptic Technique Isolation Precautions/PPE Laser Safety Pressure Ulcer Prevention Radiation Safety Sharps Safety Specimen Handling/labeling Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: No Is on-call REQ? No Will this traveler need to float between like units?
