Essential Job Functions Supports Restaurant Manager in supervising the team to deliver effective results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation. Runs shifts and assists the RM in managing the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. Knows all workstation functions and paperwork essential for recording and monitoring each job. Supervises 1 to 7 team members. Ensures objectives are reached while following all Company guidelines. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. Supports RM in creating and maintaining an "Employer of Choice" environment. Provides leadership, direction, training, and development to the restaurant team. Directs the workforce and makes staffing decisions, including recommending interviews and administering disciplinary action as needed. Delivers effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation. Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner. Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and explains them accurately to guests. Uses the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders, compute amounts, and collect payment. Understands and follows proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards. Adheres to all Company operation policies and procedures. Makes recommendations to enhance restaurant operations. Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards. May be required to attend business meetings for training and development. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1–2 years of experience in a quick‑service restaurant environment with ability to ensure guest satisfaction and train staff. Leadership partnership skills with management and staff, providing quality service to guests. Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow‑through. Motivation and leadership skills to drive staff toward organizational goals. General computer, POS, and software knowledge. Basic business math and cash handling skills. Excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports, and logs. Ability to assess and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring OSHA and local health and safety codes are met. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Experience in implementing training and development plans. English proficiency. Open availability to work any shifts as needed. Experience, Education, and Training Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a quick‑service or guest service environment, or equivalent. Food Handlers certification may be required. Physical ability to stand and walk 95–100% of shift, bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
