Pension Valuation And Reporting Cycle
Closer to a reporting-cycle role than client-facing consulting: recurring valuation, regulatory, and accounting deliverables outweigh advisory or deal work.
Retirement actuarial analyst role in Nashville, Tennessee, supporting defined benefit pension clients. You'll prepare valuations, benefit calculations, funding notices, IRS Form 5500 filings, PBGC premium forms, and ASC 715 disclosures while coordinating with clients and senior actuaries. The role is onsite and suited to candidates with 1-3 years of pension actuarial experience.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or Finance
- 1-3 years of post-education pension actuarial experience
- Functional in MS Office software (Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities
- Flexibility to work overtime to meet client demands
- Team oriented
- Attend scheduled training sessions over 12-18 months
