Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear explanations at every stage
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure top-notch diagnostic imaging
• Perform routine maintenance on ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues immediately
• Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technologies and protocols

Education and Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent certification recognized in the field
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
