If you're driven by the chance to directly impact organizational success and excited to share in the growth of an Employee-Owned Company, look no further!Essential Responsibilities:Coordinate and provide technical, quality, and service leadership to the shop teamTrain and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulationsMentor and motivate team in safety, quality, and productivity improvementsCoach and counsel employees regarding individual performance and development needsManage organization, safety, and maintenance of the shop facilityGuide service and repair processes including personnel requirements, material needs, facility needs, and tools and equipmentEnsure all established cost, quality, and delivery objectives and commitments are metEstablish quality control standards and obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products to be repairedTake corrective measures to minimize downtime and interruption of schedulesReview repair and operating reports and direct resolution of operational, repair, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delaysMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesQualifications & Skills Required:High School diploma or GED is requiredProven ability to lead a team of mechanics and willingness to work overtime on short noticeStrong communication and organizational skills with a proactive, customer-focused attitudeComfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly to changing prioritiesBasic proficiency with computer applications including Gmail, Microsoft Word, and ExcelPhysical capability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment, and materialsAbility to work effectively under minimal supervisionWhy Join Cogent?Cogent is a dynamic, employee-owned company dedicated to innovative fluid processing solutions.
