Internal Medicine Physician: High Risk (New Britain)

High Risk Physician

Starling Physicians is seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to join our High Risk Department. This provider will manage complex, high‑risk patients with multiple chronic diseases who are in transition of care and/or have higher acuity, short‑term needs. The provider will collaborate with Starling physicians and care management staff to provide medical care and assessment of care management/social work/pharmacy needs, with the goal of achieving high‑value outcomes related to quality metrics, patient experience and appropriate utilization and costs.

Responsibilities

• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends and shared call.
• Option for a four‑day work week is available.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before you begin practicing.
• Board Certification and DEA license required.
