Work Environment

Located in the vibrant setting of West Palm Beach, our outpatient clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support effective physical therapy interventions. You will work in a supportive team environment that values communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary professionals. The position involves a standard workweek of 40 hours, with some variable weekend hours to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Assess and document patient progress clearly, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing consultation to a range of healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive coordination of care for each patient.
  • Engage with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultures, adhering closely to our customer service standards to provide an exemplary experience.
  • Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, marketing efforts, and program development to enhance clinic visibility and promote physical health.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, staying informed about trends, regulations, and best practices in physical therapy.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance with all licensure and regulatory requirements, while also keeping communication lines open with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will encounter at Parkview PT Clinic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus is on delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s unique condition and lifestyle.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state license in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, demonstrating commitment to patient safety.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective patient interaction and documentation.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software to manage patient documentation and billing.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in an orthopedic setting is highly desirable, especially in outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with contemporary treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring support staff or students, showcasing leadership skills.
