Duties

• Lead and manage the department team to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash register functions.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies that drive sales growth and improve market presence.
• Monitor department performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in buying decisions to optimize product selection based on market trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail or store management; previous experience as an Assistant Manager is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and clerical duties related to retail management.
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $19.75 per hour
