Job Title: Driver & Warehouse Assistant

Reports To: Warehouse Manager/ Lead

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a hybrid role that combines driving and warehouse responsibilities. As a Driver & Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key part in both delivering orders to our wholesale customers and assisting with day-to-day warehouse tasks, including order fulfillment, coffee blending and bagging, and maintaining an organized, clean workspace. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Delivery & Logistics:

• Deliver Orders: Safely deliver wholesale orders to customers Monday through Friday, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Vendor Pick-Ups: Occasionally pick up shipments from vendors and transport them back to the warehouse.
• Route Management: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.

Warehouse Support:

• Order Fulfillment: Process and fulfill online, wholesale, and sample orders promptly and accurately.
• Coffee Blending & Bagging: Blend and package roasted coffee beans into bags for orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Inventory Management: Stock, restock, and maintain inventory of warehouse items; ensure items are neatly organized and easy to locate.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products are accurately labeled, packed, and stocked according to company standards.
• Shipping & Logistics: Process shipments through our shipping platforms and track shipments as needed.
• General Maintenance: Assist with keeping the production area clean, organized, and up to HACCP cleaning standards.
• HACCP Compliance: Participate in cleaning tasks as required by our HACCP protocol to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid CA Driver’s License: Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when fulfilling orders, labeling, packing, and ensuring product quality.
• Punctuality & Reliability: Dependable and consistently on time.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and maneuver boxes weighing up to 40lbs.
• Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Coffee Industry Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in the coffee industry (roasting, packaging, or distribution) is a plus but not required.
• Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, from deliveries to warehouse duties.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized workspace in both the warehouse and during deliveries.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position
• Occasional overtime may be required depending on order volume
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
