Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ResponsibilitiesAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, or Resident Care Aide, you will:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
Help residents with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
Take and document vital signs accurately
Observe residents and report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
Assist residents during meals and with feeding when needed
Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
Follow resident care plans and facility policies
Work closely with RNs, LPNs, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Provide exceptional service to residents and their families
Current and active Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Previous CNA experience in skilled nursing, nursing home, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, healthcare, or senior care preferred
Compassion for elderly and geriatric residents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and dependable
Team-oriented attitude
Commitment to high-quality resident care
Ability to work assigned shifts and required weekend rotations
Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply!
