Join a hospital in Albany, NY as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and gather data that supports accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses for patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or an accredited Allied Health Program.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty, including Cath Lab hospital setting experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must obtain and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to meet call commitment of one weeknight and one weekend per month as required by the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular or Allied Health training program preferred.
• Experience with invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular study procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
• Call commitment: one weeknight and one weekend per month.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the system when needed.
