Their role is to map out and define the list of dependent projects that need to be completed to reach the overall goal. A Project Manager focuses on strategy and implementation. They may have one or more Project Managers assigned to their team and are responsible for delegating and overseeing projects appropriately.To be successful in the position, a Project Manager will mainly focus on the operational elements of the program/project such as, meeting deadlines, staying within budget and completing deliverables. The ability to anticipate issues and understand the questions to ask in order to clarify job instructions and client expectations are critical to being successful in this position.Essential Functions:Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are met.Communicate effectively with customers, sales, vendors, and internal teams.Respond to emails and project requests in a timely manner.Keep projects organized and follow up to ensure work continues moving forward.Identify potential issues and take ownership of finding solutions.Coordinate with other departments when assistance is needed while maintaining ownership of the project.Manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.Follow established processes while using good judgment when a situation requires a different approach.Help identify ways to improve processes and make projects run more efficientlyOther duties.
