Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Assistant Project Manager
A growing construction firm delivering commercial and specialty projects across multiple sectors. The business is known for consistent execution, strong client relationships, and a hands-on, team-driven environment with a steady regional pipeline.
Assist Project Manager on TI and ground-up projects across 5+ sites
Track budgets, invoices, and cost forecasts against project targets
Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and material deliveries
Support RFIs, submittals, permits, and closeout documentation
Conduct site visits to monitor safety, progress, and quality standards

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- 2-4 years in construction or Assistant Project Manager role
- Experience across TI, retail, bank, or hospitality projects preferred
- Strong organization, communication, and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and project management software
- Bachelor's degree in construction or related field, or equivalent experience
Salary range of USD $55,000 to $75,000 + car allowance + 401(k) match.
Exposure to diverse commercial and specialty sectors
Structured progression to Project Manager role
Stable project pipeline in the Columbus market
