The Saga
Seven Restaurant Group, the group behind award winning restaurants Seven Reasons (Best New Restaurant in the Americas, Esquire Magazine, 2019), Imperfecto (One Michelin Star), and theSaga (Michelin Guide, 2023) is hiring Bartenders for theSaga/Quadrant. _____________________________________________________________________________________ TheSaga, our fifth restaurant, showcases our evolving culinary approach to top-tier hospitality. For Chef Enrique Limardo, this restaurant has been decades in the making and represents the maturation of his culinary talent and the country where he honed his talent: Spain. The energetic restaurant will feature upscale, inventive Spanish cuisine like vibrantly colored rices to share, 45-day dry aged meats, and signature Spanish dishes like Gazpacho (with Mango and Tangerine flavors and Manchego foam) and Pan Con Tomate (made instead with carpaccio-style tomatoes) made with Chef Limardo’s unique Latin culinary touches. The beverage program, designed by Beverage Director Carlos Boada, will complement the sophisticated dining experience. The wine list was curated by Sommelier Raquel Ortega, with Spanish wines predominantly highlighted. As a whole, The Saga is a reflection on our group’s growth and will take inspiration from existing locations: Seven Reasons helped us discover our roots and Imperfecto taught them the beauty of imperfection as a learning and growing process. The ethos of all of these concepts will be evident while dining at The Saga for both DC locals and visiting guests. The Saga is an interior concept by OOAK, the award-winning designers of MICHELIN-starred Imperfecto. There are two main focal points of the space: the vast bar with an intricate wood light fixture resting above the space and the open kitchen where guests can watch Chef Enrique and the team at work. The deeper one gets into the space the more authentic, darker, and raw the setting for the culinary experience gets, with the peak being the Chef’s Table and the kitchen at the furthest end of the restaurant. The lighting also reflects a larger fire motif in the restaurant, with elements like blown glass, burned wood, and hand made ceramics throughout the space, reflecting our group’s status as one of the hottest restaurant groups in DC. The color palette features earth tones and patterns like marble and seagrass stone, with hints of yellow and purple as an homage to the group’s growth and their first concept, Seven Reasons. The space is also highly personalized, like with illustrated wall tiles that took inspiration from cave murals. Stunning visually, The Saga’s design is sure to compliment the innovative dishes and drinks.
