Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (Friday & Saturday nights)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Herrin, IL. The unit performs many of the same functions as a medical floor, excluding Heparin drips. Stroke certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes using sound clinical judgment
• Provide education, explanations, and instructions to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
• Experience with neuro/stroke patients preferred
• Stroke certification is a plus, but not required
