Senior Product Designer

Senior Product Designer role for Key Resource Group, LLC in Lancaster, NY (onsite); this full-time, in-person position supports product development and improvement for a global aerospace and defense manufacturer. Responsibilities Systematically review and investigate the full spectrum of materials provided to inform design decisions and align with project specifications. Define and document limiting parameters that guide the approach to solving configuration requirements. Develop detailed layouts and drawings for the subject model, ensuring clarity and readiness for downstream processes. Build and maintain robust 3D CAD models throughout the design lifecycle, updating as changes occur and supporting integration efforts. Perform weight and center of gravity calculations to verify design viability and document results for design reviews. Requirements Associate degree in Engineering Technology is required as the minimum education qualification. A minimum of eight years of related experience in product design, engineering, or a closely related field. Strong mathematical proficiency across descriptive geometry, plane geometry, solid geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and related analytical methods. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering materials, and applicable military standards. Proficiency with CAD tools is required.
