Escrow OfficerThe Escrow Officer is responsible for managing real estate transactions from open to close, ensuring all escrow instructions are followed accurately and in compliance with state regulations, lender requirements, and company policies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.Key Responsibilities:Open and manage escrow files for residential and or commercial real estate transactionsReview purchase agreements, escrow instructions, title commitments, lender conditions, and closing documentsCoordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title officers, and attorneys to ensure smooth and timely closingsPrepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures for accuracy and complianceEnsure all documents are properly executed, notarized, and recordedBalance escrow files and verify receipt and disbursement of fundsResolve title, payoff, and documentation issues prior to closingEnsure compliance with state, federal, and company escrow regulationsConduct closings and explain documents to clients when requiredMaintain accurate records and provide status updates throughout the transactionQualifications:Previous experience as an Escrow Officer, Escrow Closer, or Settlement Officer - 5 YearsStrong knowledge of escrow processes, title requirements, and real estate transactionsFamiliarity with state escrow laws and real estate regulationsAbility to manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting deadlinesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency with escrow and title software systems
