What You'll Do

  • Provide direct patient care within the PACU, managing post-surgical recovery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Administer procedural sedation and monitor patient vitals
  • Document patient progress accurately using EPIC electronic health records
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety procedures
  • Serve as a team leader, delegating responsibilities to other staff as appropriate

What You Need

Required:
  • Current New York RN license
  • EPIC electronic health record experience
  • Procedural sedation and recovery experience
  • Minimum 1 year PACU or equivalent acute care experience
Preferred:
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Experience with AM admissions/blocks
  • Certified in crisis prevention or verbal de-escalation (Welle or CPI training)
