Material Coordinator I (Onsite: Houston, TX)

The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy. Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00/hour, depending on experience. Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors. Shift Details: Day Shift | 8-hours plus overtime when needed Responsibilities Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a driver’s license Experience in an operations environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of handheld scanners and lift truck operations. Certified or experienced in operating Powered industrial truck operations (forklifts, reach truck). Skilled in Inventory Control. Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems is a plus. Able to speak and write clearly to share information with coworkers and supervisors. Works well with others in a fast-paced team environment. Dependable at following directions and safety protocols.
