Base pay starts at $20/hr.Spring Place is a membership club and workspace, connecting work, leisure and culture for its community of global influencers, creative entrepreneurs and industry leaders.Job DescriptionSpring Place is looking for a professional Housekeeper who will fill a key role in maintaining the appearance and presentation of Spring Place. In this role you will be required to wear many hats. You are responsible for servicing meeting rooms and cleaning work spaces, all while serving high quality membership service.Role and ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas, conference rooms and restaurant space Perform a variety of cleaning activities (i.e. sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, etc.) Check stocking levels of all cleaning supplies and replace when appropriate; inform supervisor/ manager when items need to be reordered Use correct cleaning chemicals for different surfaces in spaces Clean conference rooms according to priority and brand standards Clean restrooms according to brand standards and monitor during shift Dust and polish furniture as well as lighting fixtures Notify management of any damage, defects and disturbances within the property Garbage removal Transport special requests dispatched by Member Services, such as packages and restaurant orders Bus work spaces and clear area of glassware and dinnerware to the restaurant Anticipate Membership needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests Maintain positive relations at all times Adhere strictly to rules regarding Health & Safety and be aware of company related practicesQualificationsSkills and QualificationsMinimum of 1-2 years proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of building and furniture and fixtures Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies A high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills. Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper Experience working in a fast-paced, efficiency demanding environment. Passion for/experience in hospitality industry a plus Calm demeanor under pressurePhysical Demands and Work Environments:Available to work day/evening hours, weekends and holidays as the business dictates Must be willing to work long shifts Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing Use ladders when required Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time All Spring Place employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
