Position Location: North Carolina, US Hiring Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Proposed Start Date: 06/22/2026 Estimated Duration of Appointment: 1 to 6 months Position Summary The Reservation Specialist provides onsite administrative and client support to events scheduled through Event Services. The position is customer-facing in a busy Student Union and supports the Reservation Manager in supervising student staff. The role processes high volumes of venue requests, supports invoice processing, runs event scheduling software reports, and delivers desk coverage during peak class time when student staff are unavailable. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Experience with 25Live or Microsoft 365. Experience working in a student union or similar environments. Experience working in a customer service-focused environment. Knowledge and awareness of event management or technical event production. Experience working in a team-oriented environment. Special Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to move up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
