Rehab Aide

Overview Position: Rehab Aide Location: Sunset Hills, MO Type of Employment: PRN (As-Needed) Schedule:M-F 8:00A- 4:30PCompensation: Starts ant $19.50/hour Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations. Why Join Us: (benefits for full-time at 32+ hours/week) * Start Strong: Our mentorship and orientation programs ensure a successful transition * Recharge & Refresh: Generous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance * Your Health Matters: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, and dental plan offerings * Invest in Your Future: Company-matching 401(k) retirement plans as well as life and disability protection Responsibilities * Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions * Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment * Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) * Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Education: Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program required * Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required * Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification * Current State Driver's License in good standing required: Acquisition of a Class E license allowing for the operation of the bus Preferred Qualifications * CPR certification * First aid certification * Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
