Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible untilgreaterthan 6 months of separation from employment.Pen Bay Hospital offers care in more than 30 specialty areasand is a designated stroke center, providing stroke patients with the best possible opportunity for recoveryThe Inpatient/Skilled Rehab department at this location is a cohesive and innovative team that cares for a wide range of patients.NewlygraduatingPhysical Therapists are welcome!Ideal clinical experience for a new graduate wouldbe inpatient and / or skilled rehabFull Time(32hrs) Schedule: (4) 8 hour days – Sun, Mon, Tues& Fri Orrotating Sundays with anadditionalday during the week Summary The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. Provides all aspects of care based on standardsestablishedby the American Physical Therapy Association. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education:Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist programrequired.License/Certifications:Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapistrequiredor in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certificationrequiredor mustobtainwithin30 daysof start date.
