Engineering Manager, NPD

Engineering Manager overseeing process development for new catheter and neurovascular device introductions at a medical device manufacturer. Lead up to eight engineers in validating manufacturing processes, equipment, and infrastructure while managing project budgets and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead process development milestones across one to two new product introductions
- Manage team of up to eight engineers on process validation and manufacturing verification
- Establish project priorities, scope, and resource needs with budget accountability
- Partner across divisions to resolve NPI challenges and deliver products on schedule
- Identify obstacles and coordinate cross-functional resolution of complex technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years technical experience in product or process development
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Medical device industry experience preferred
- Polymer extrusion manufacturing knowledge preferred
- Manufacturing line equipment selection and IQ/OQ/PQ experience preferred
Compensation: $123,900 - $206,500 USD Annual
