Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience: 2 years Patient Ratio Experience: 6 patients Charting System: Epic Description: The unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekends are required. Floating is required within the scope. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted. Daily patient census is approximately 24. The unit has 30 beds. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. The unit staff will include interdisciplinary support such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Special procedures and additional equipment details are provided during orientation. The patient diagnoses vary across the medical surgical spectrum. Travelers must complete compliance requirements within established timelines.
