Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Shift: M-F 0700-1530 with on call 2 weekends and 15 shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing patients before their procedure.
- Administering medications.
- Documenting vital signs, assessments, and changes in status.
- Assisting with imaging.
- Monitoring the patient during the procedure.
- Responding to emergencies- cath lab nurses are critical care nurses!
- Providing education and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
Requirements
- BLS
- ACLS
- FL RN License or compact state license
- NIHSS
- 2 Yr of recent experience as a Cath Lab nurse in Level 1 Trauma center.
