Client Services - Payroll Manager

Financial Additions is working with a growing advisory group looking for a Client Services - Payroll Manager. Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable functions, and recurring accounting workflows for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconcile payroll and AP-related accounts, and maintain accurate general ledger transactions.
• Manage client relationships through recurring meetings, project oversight, process improvements, and collaboration with accounting, tax, and assurance teams.
• Coach and develop team members, solve complex payroll and accounting issues, and ensure adherence to internal controls and information security standards.

Payroll Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of related payroll, accounting, or client advisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively.
• Experience with payroll software platforms such as Paychex, Gusto, Paylocity, and ADP.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, accounts payable processes, and familiarity with sales tax registrations and filings preferred.
