Medicine PCU Location: Livingston/Howell - Brighton April 2026 Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Role: Registered Nurse Department: Medicine PCU (10 bed 3 South surgical unit and/or 19-bed acuity adaptable blended unit). Required Qualifications Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred. Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License. BLS. ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency and PCU at Livingston. Effective January 1, 2013, all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role. Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs. Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care. Experience: Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply.
