Mauricio Leon-Risemberg – State Farm Agency in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Bilingual Insurance Generalist who is fluent in both Spanish and English to join our team.

This is a sales and customer service role, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers, and also has the drive to identify opportunities and grow the business.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated professional who can provide a remarkable customer experience while confidently discussing insurance products and helping customers find coverage that fits their needs. Insurance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right personality, work ethic, and skill set.

Responsibilities

• Balance sales and customer service responsibilities
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate insurance products
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive follow-up
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
• Assist customers with policy changes, coverage questions, billing inquiries, transfers, eligibility, and other insurance-related needs
• Identify cross-selling and additional coverage opportunities within the existing customer base
• Follow up with prospects and customers to develop new business and strengthen relationships
• Educate customers on available insurance products and coverage options
• Meet or exceed established sales and service goals
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation
• Deliver a professional and positive customer experience in both Spanish and English

Requirements

• Bilingual; Fluent in Spanish and English
• Property & Casualty license required or must be able to obtain
• Life & Health license required or must be able to obtain
• Insurance sales and/or customer service experience preferred
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred
• Previous sales experience preferred, including inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals or quotas preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate solutions
• Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic
