What You'll Be Doing As a Member Service Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members by providing personalized financial guidance and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include: Originating and processing consumer loans from application through closing. Opening new memberships and deposit accounts. Assisting members with account maintenance and servicing requests. Helping members understand available products and services and connecting them with solutions that meet their financial needs. Scheduling appointments when additional time or specialized assistance would best serve the member. Providing accurate information and guidance while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures. Maintaining complete and accurate documentation. Collaborating with teammates to deliver a seamless member experience. Contributing to branch and organizational goals through exceptional service and quality work. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Six months to one year of experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, or customer service. Experience opening deposit accounts and/or processing consumer loans is preferred. Technical Skills Comfortable learning financial systems and technology platforms. Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business software. Ability to accurately review financial documents and perform basic financial calculations.
