As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you'll support those in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier . More About Our Team Our Vascular unit specializes in caring for patients with complex vascular and circulatory conditions, as well as general medical and post surgical needs. Patients on this unit may include those with peripheral vascular disease, arterial and venous disorders, wound complications, post operative vascular care, and chronic conditions requiring ongoing monitoring and education. Nurses work closely with vascular surgeons, hospitalists, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high quality, patient centered care. Nurses on this unit are provided the opportunity to earn dialysis certification as part of their professional development. How You\'ll Contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We Believe That Investing In Our Employees Is The First Step To Providing Excellent Patient Care. What We\'re Looking For Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate\'s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Associate\'s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing preferred Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS are required within six months of hire. Two-three years of experience preferred, new grads welcome to apply.
