About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections, recommends necessary under‑car repair services, directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, and stages vehicle repair and maintenance work. They drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information about repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant or Service Manager, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess either: (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
