Location: Greater Atlanta area (northeast side)

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

FLSA: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire


Our client, a specialized provider of high-tech products and engineered solutions for the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Field Service Engineer . This role provides technical support primarily remotely and from the Atlanta office, while also performing on-site field engineering. 50% Travel is expected. Under the guidance of the Senior Technical Manager, you will receive training to ensure success in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining an industrial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical and/or electrical experience who enjoys working directly with clients in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:


Provide field technical service and troubleshooting for industrial equipment, including installation, maintenance, repair, and software support.


Coordinate with customers and equipment manufacturers to define specifications, resolve technical issues, and implement effective solutions.


Develop and execute test programs, create technical procedures, and deliver operation and software training to customers and internal staff.


Support sales activities through technical consultations, machinery demonstrations, trade shows, and participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).


Maintain accurate service records and submit internal and manufacturer reports as required.


Escalate technical issues appropriately and communicate field updates to the Engineering Manager in a timely manner.


Provide feedback to manufacturers to support continuous product and quality improvement.


Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:


2 years of experience in electronics or industrial equipment.
Experience with automation or CNC machine support experience is a big plus.


Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and CAD software for technical tasks.


Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial machinery.


Good communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.


Willingness to travel 50-75% domestically and internationally


Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related.


Prior field service or customer support experience a plus.


Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
