Product Development Technician

Job Summary (List Format):


- Prepare batches of defined formulations using various mixers for product development.
- Conduct testing of adhesives and sealants following ASTM and internal methodologies.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory and woodshop safety protocols, including the 5S and Safety Lab programs.
- Operate power tools (e.g., drills, saws, routers) safely for specimen preparation and product testing.
- Utilize digital Product Development platforms for daily batch and task management, documentation, and reporting.
- Record, organize, and communicate experimental data and test results clearly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and storage areas, ensuring equipment is kept in good condition.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and across other business areas.
- Participate actively in team cross-training and contribute to ongoing learning and skill development initiatives.
- Fabricate test setups or product samples as needed for application clinics or customer demonstrations.
- Observe and enforce all safety and environmental guidelines while handling chemicals and products.
- Remain proactive in learning new technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices relevant to rubber, plastics, and coatings compounding.
