Welder Position
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a dedicated welder to join their team. As a welder, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the assembly and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Mukilteo, WA
Pay Range: $31-41 hourly
Shift: Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Welding aluminum shapes to vacuum tight standards with precision and consistency
- Selecting, installing, and adjusting tips and shields for optimal welding performance
- Installing and replacing gas tanks, filling/wiring according to weld type and assembly requirements
- Securing parts and assemblies with clamps and custom fixturing to ensure accurate welds
- Reviewing finished parts for conformance to design specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers and rulers
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with aluminum TIG welding (minimum 1+ years)
- Experience with welding to vacuum tight standards is a plus
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to use small hand tools and precision measuring equipment effectively
