Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L/D)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections as required
• Monitor and assess fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment
• Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients as needed, including simple med/surg overflow (orthopedic patients)
• Respond to triage and recovery room needs within the unit
• Float within the unit for low census coverage, including sitting or task assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating in the OR for Labor & Delivery procedures
• Familiarity with GE Centricity and/or Meditech electronic health record systems
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
