Job Description Sewing Production Assistant Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sewing Production Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations. This role assists sewing and production teams in the creation of high-quality products while helping maintain workflow efficiency, quality standards, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to meeting production goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support sewing operators by preparing materials, handling fabric, and maintaining efficient workflow. Perform basic sewing and production-related tasks as needed. Load and organize cutting files, patterns, and layouts for production runs. Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards. Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more significant concerns to supervisors. Maintain accurate production records, including output, waste, and material usage. Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping policies and procedures. Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready. Assist with packaging, material handling, and other manufacturing support activities. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets and deadlines. Schedule Full-time position. Overtime opportunities may be available based on production requirements. Flexibility to work assigned shifts and occasional weekends as needed. Qualifications Previous sewing, manufacturing, textile, or production experience preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
