Overview Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is developing the Black Hawk Modernization Associate Program Manager role to lead the modernization of the Army’s Black Hawk helicopter. The position includes executing new capability contract work and developing business opportunities for ongoing utility helicopter improvements. Responsibilities The Black Hawk Modernization Associate Program Manager will be responsible for: Leading the critical effort to modernize capabilities for the Army’s warfighter. Executing new capability contract work for the Black Hawk program. Developing and acquiring pending and ongoing utility helicopter business, including pursuit of capability insertion opportunities. Building and managing cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment. Basic Qualifications Strategic, action‑oriented program leadership with proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with program planning and earned value management systems (EVMS). Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills Background in program planning. Experience leading a team of engineers. Engineering, technical, or business‑related degree.
