Field service engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Engineer - Degreed I to join their team. As a Engineer - Degreed I, you will be part of the Field Service team supporting medical device installation, maintenance, and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineer - Degreed I

Location: DETROIT, MI (Remote work available)

Pay Range: $29/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform proper system installation, including hardware and software upgrades on medical systems
• Handle service repair calls and conduct scheduled preventive maintenance
• Provide accurate service records for quality management and regulatory compliance
• Manage work-related travel efficiently and communicate effectively with team members
• Support company initiatives related to quality, environmental management, and regulatory standards

What's Needed?

• Associates or technical degree required; relevant experience is acceptable
• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with mechanical tools
• Experience in a medical device environment is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
