Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Bremen Plant - Bremen, GA 30110Salary Range: $18.55 HourlyJob Shift: 1st/Day ShiftPosition Summary: Operates one plant machinery as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product. General Purpose: To efficiently operate one machine at standard efficiency levels in order to fulfill daily production requirements. Position Responsibilities Read and Perform Authorized LOTO as outlined for machine. Operating in a safe manner. Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Communicate daily with Team Leader or Shift Supervisor on any changes or issues that may impact quality or machine efficiency. Sets stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates. Observes machine operation to detect product defects, machine malfunction and waste. Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance. Ensure product specification, HACCP, label verification and other quality measures are in compliance. Ensure any machine deficiencies, cases per hour, and other parameters are noted on the communication board. Communicate with oncoming Machine Operator. Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product. Ensure all housekeeping, environmental, and GMPs are maintained and adhered to. Comply with company policies and procedures. Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed. Qualifications Essential Skills and Experience Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Must be able to identify colors.
